Stand up for yourself and your dreams, don’t wait for things to happen. Action is the only way to change your life and no one else can do it for you.
Now I know sometimes this is easier said than done because life is full of obstacles and for that we can be to hard on ourselves, not aware that criticism, pressure and the often comparison with someone else’s life can really paralyze us to the point laying on bed forever seems like a good idea! Sometimes we get tired of worrying about everything we were supposed to be doing but we’re not, that we forget to appreciate everything we are actually doing, forgetting all the effort that is being payed off just because things aren't going the way we’d planned. This is why is so important to praise ourselves if we are to find the will to keep going. And above all, respect our limits, which sometimes means we need a break or need to understand we’re already doing our best in our own rhythm. Choosing ourselves over pleasing another, standing up for our interests and our future ahead like we were our first best friend in life can actually push us further. And sometimes it’s the only way get things done.
This is about finding our strength to stand up among the torment and not giving up.
